At the young age of 25 Georgie has been a Kitchen Hand, Barista, Cake Decorator, Chef, Head Chef and now a Business Owner with an employer status.

From a young age Georgie has always had an interest in being in the kitchen. Starting out pestering her Granny in the kitchen, always wanting to help every step of the way.
Georgie's first love was baking, she soon found out she had an amazing talent for understanding the essence of flavours whether they be sweet or savoury, she would nail it every time.
An eye for detail has always been present with Georgie which led to the expectations of her becoming some form of artist in life, but there was no reason why she couldn't combine both.... And so 'Georgies Cakes' was born.

Gaining global recognition over social media as well as a devoted following around the Marlborough Region, for creating incredible custom cakes from birthdays to weddings, harmonized with her weekday job of working her way up to running cafe kitchens. Every day gaining experience in hospitality paved the way for a bigger idea for Georgie's career.
After 8 years of a small idea being thrown around it was now being extensively planned from every angle, for the decision to take a huge gamble and bring her high school idea to life.
Inevitably in January of 2023 'Georgie's - Coffee and Food' was finally Fabricated, and the Riverlands Estate was introduced to the hospitality talent that is Georgie.
